Finian McKean: Shades Are Drawn

So I know that Chris, Dodge and Matt from Skatterbrain have all posted about Finian McKean in the past little while, but he was kind enough to send me a copy of his new album Shades Are Drawn last week and I wound up listening to it all weekend.
Before going solo, McKean was a member of 90's indie band Push Kings. I'm not familiar with this group, but after hearing his solo effort I'm going to try and track some albums down. If Push Kings were anything like Shades are Drawn then I'm pretty sure I'll enjoy it.
The album is a collection of melancholy folk/country tracks for the most part, but McKean lets loose a couple of times and turns up the volume for a nice changeup. Still, the albums bread and butter is the haunting quality of McKeans voice when he hits a point of resignation.
Here's a track from the album. It's an M4A so if you don't have iTunes you're out of luck. Sorry about that. You can also download a couple of tracks from his website. Once you've done that, you can buy the album by clicking here, and I urge you to do so.
