Danielson: Ship

So when I read my boy Austin's article in Billboard about Sufjan Stevens and members of Deerhoof contributing to the new Daniel Smith album I was pretty excited to hear it. Well, I got to hear it last night, and it didn't disappoint.

Smith decided to drop the "famile" from the name for this recording, since there were more outside contributors than ever before. The album is due out May 9th on Secretly Canadian, who I would marry at this point if that sort of thing were possible. That's how good their year is shaping up to be. I'd settle for working for them in a pinch. Call me.
